The Loctite EA 9390 AERO epoxy adhesive is a premium two-component structural system engineered for critical aerospace composite repair applications, offering exceptional wet lay-up performance on graphite and glass fibre laminates. Featuring excellent wetting combined with high shear modulus and outstanding hot/wet durability, it cures at 200 °F (93 °C) to deliver bond-line integrity in demanding environments, and is qualified to BMS 8-301 standards. Its low viscosity ensures deep substrate penetration, while the cured adhesive exhibits a glass transition temperature (Tg) of approximately 345 °F (174 °C) in dry conditions and maintains strength above 350 °F (177 °C) service temperature. Compatible with aluminium, carbon-fibre composites, honeycomb and other aerospace-grade materials, it supports general structural bonding, repair of aircraft skins, stringers, wing panels and secondary load-bearing assemblies in commercial and military aviation settings.
