The PPG P/S 870 C-2 Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant PT is a two-part, manganese-dioxide-cured polysulfide compound engineered for high-demand aerospace installations, offering robust sealing of faying and roller surfaces while actively inhibiting galvanic and crevice corrosion on aluminium, steel, titanium and common aircraft alloys. It delivers a full service range from –65 °F (–54 °C) to 250 °F (121 °C) with short excursions to 275 °F (135 °C), retains elastomeric flexibility after exposure to jet fuels, aviation gasoline and hydraulic fluids, and cures to form a resilient, adhesive seal layer that endures structural assembly, OEM production, MRO repairs and harsh environmental cycles with exceptional durability, fluid-resistance and material compatibility.
