This sealant is ideal for aluminum alloys and other metals. PPG Aerospace® P/S 870 B-1/2 Corrosion Inhibiting Sealant MIL-PRF-81733D is easy to use, suitable for a wide service temperature range of -54°C (-65°F) to 121°C (250°F), and will tolerate intermittent exposure to temperatures up to 135°C (275°F) without failure. PPG P/S 870 is a two-component, Class B manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide compound. When mixed, this product forms a thixotropic paste with high sag resistance and is easy to apply with an extrusion gun. The sealant cures at room temperature and, once cured, has immense strength.
