PPG Aerospace® PR-1826 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant is designed for fillet sealing and other fuselage sealing applications. The sealant is meant to help stop leaks before they start, maintaining safety in the sky and improving the integrity of your aircraft’s most critical system. PPG Aerospace® PR-1826 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant is gray and is meant to cure rapidly, delivering a solid seal faster than other fuel tank sealants. The thick formula goes on smoothly and is a low sag, thixotropic paste that may be applied by an extrusion gun or spatula.

PPG Aerospace® PR-1826 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant is made to work at a wide range of temperatures. The service temperature range is from -80°F (-62°C) to 320°F (160°C), but the sealant can also handle brief excursions up to 420°F (216°C). Once cured, the sealant maintains its excellent elastomeric properties even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas. The epoxy-cured, Permapol® P-3 polythioether compound is sold in a 6 oz. 654-SemKit for easy application.
