The PPG PRC-Desoto® 654 Series fuel tank sealant is an adhesive containing two components (Part A and Part B). Part A is a paste and is black in color, and Part B is the liquid component that is white. Part B has a boiling point above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and contains 195 grams per liter of VOC. The specific gravities of the components are Part A = 1.34 and Part B 1.304, with a density of 11.18 pounds per gallon for Part A and 10.85 pounds per gallon for Part B. The sealant is packaged in a 6-ounce cartridge.
