PPG Aerospace® PR-1776M B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant is nicely engineered to develop bond strength, is very lightweight and will seal gaps and cracks with minimal weight added to the aircraft. As a fuel tank sealant, PPG Aerospace® PR-1776M B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant can tolerate exposure to aircraft fuels and limited exposure to diphosphate ester based hydraulic fluids.

PPG Aerospace® PR-1776M B-1/2 BMS 5-45H Fuel Tank Sealant is very easy to apply. The brown sealant comes as a two-part formula that is designed to be mixed immediately before use. The pint kit has pre-measured components and is ready to mix. After mixing the system will change into a low sag, thixotropic paste that can be applied by extrusion gun or spatula. The sealant cures at room temperature, which is surprisingly tough about joint filling and nascent bond strength with vibrational forces.
