PPG Aerospace® PR-1440 A-1/2 Gray AMS-S-8802C Class A-1/2 Spec Fuel Tank Sealant - Pint Kit

PR-1440 Class is an aircraft fuel tank sealant that is integral to the aircraft's fuel tanks. Operating service temperatures of -65 to 250 deg F, and with intermittent excursions to 275 deg F. The material will seal fasteners by brushing it in fuel tanks as well as fuselage applications. After extended exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas, the cured sealant has excellent elastomeric physical property retention. PR-1440 Class A is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide compound. The uncured material is suitable for brush application in thicknesses up to 25 mil. Curing occurs at room temperature and forms a resilient sealant with excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
