Introducing the PPG Aerospace PR‑1440 A‑1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant – Pint Kit, a two-part polysulfide sealant engineered for OEM assembly and MRO applications in aviation fuel systems. Qualified to specification AMS‑S‑8802C Class A-1/2, it features a short application life (≈ ½ hour) for efficient tooling and fast cure, forming a dark-gray resilient barrier that delivers deep adhesion to aluminium, stainless steel and titanium substrates. With a service range from –65 °F (–54 °C) to 250 °F (121 °C), and intermittent excursions up to 275 °F (135 °C), it maintains elastomeric integrity after prolonged exposure to aviation fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, salt-water immersion and intense thermal cycling. Ideal for sealing integral wing, centre-tank and fuselage fuel cell joints, fasteners and fillets, it offers superior durability, flexibility and fuel resistance  ensuring dependable leak-free performance in demanding aerospace environments.
