PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 B-1/2 Brown PRC Standard Spec Fuel Tank Sealant - Pint Kit

PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant is the only sealant you need to have confidence flying. The brown PRC Standard Spec fuel tank sealant is intended for sealing the inside of the fuel tank, and is typically used for fillet sealing seams and other applications. This fuel tank sealant is resistant to aviation fuels and retains its strength and reliable seal even after extended exposure to fuel, varying temperatures, and other flight environments and conditions. The PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant has a service temperature of -65F (-54C) to 250F (121C), with intermittent excursions to 275F (135C).

PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealer is sold in a pint-size kit that contains all pre-measured components that can be mixed as soon as they arrive. After mixing, the fuel tank sealant should be applied immediately as a slow cure process begins almost immediately. When mixed, the PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealer is thixotropic paste. It uses a low-sag formula that allows this aircraft fuel tank sealant to be effectively used in either vertical or horizontal applications with the use of an extrusion gun or spatula. The B-1/2 sealant bonds quickly to most common aircraft substrates.
