PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 A-2 Brown PRC Standard Spec Fuel Tank Sealant - 6 oz 654-SemKit

PR-1422 Class A - B is an integrated sealer for aircraft fuel tanks. The service temperature range is from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C) with intermittent excursions to 275°F (135°C). This material is suitable for brush sealing of fasteners in fuel tanks and similarly located sealing situations in aircraft fuselage. After prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas, the cured sealant retains good elastomeric properties. PR-1422 Class A consists of a dual, dichromate cured polysulfide compound. The uncured material is suitable for use by brush-up to 25 mils in thickness. The sealant cures at room temperature to be a resilient sealant exhibiting superior adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
