The PPG Aerospace® PR1422 A-1/2 Brown AMS-S-8802 Type 1, Class A-1/2 Pint Kit is a two-part, dichromate-cured polysulfide sealant engineered for critical aircraft fuel-tank and pressurized-structure sealing applications, offering a proven operating temperature range from -65 °F (-54 °C) to 250 °F (121 °C) and intermittent excursions up to 275 °F (135 °C).It cures at ambient temperature to form a highly elastomeric, fuel- and hydraulic-fluid-resistant barrier that retains exceptional adhesion to aluminium, anodised or Alodine-treated aluminium, titanium, stainless steel and composite substrates.  With peel strength values above 30 pli (133 N/25 mm) after immersion test, elongation up to 250 % and corrosion resistance after extended exposure in salt-water/fuel environments, this sealant delivers long-term reliability in demanding aerospace environments and simplifies maintenance by combining high durability with flexible dynamic sealing performance.
