The PPG Aerospace®/PRC DeSoto® P/S 870 A-1/2 is a two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide sealant engineered for rapid cure and corrosion protection in aerospace structures. Supplied in a pint kit, it adheres to aluminum alloys and dissimilar metals, forming a flexible, resilient seal resistant to aviation fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and harsh environments. Its fast-curing A-1/2 profile supports time-sensitive assembly and MRO operations, providing long-term durability for airframe joints, pressurized cabins, and structural sealing. With sag-free application and service temperatures from -65°F to 250°F, it ensures reliable performance under demanding operational conditions.
