The PPG Aerospace P/S 870 A‑1/2 Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant is a high-performance, two-part manganese-dioxide-cured polysulfide sealant engineered for aerospace airframe applications, fully qualified to MIL-PRF-81733D Type I-1/2, Class 1 (GA) specification. Designed for sealing and long-term corrosion protection between aluminum alloys and dissimilar metallic substrates, it forms a durable elastomeric barrier that resists jet fuel, aviation gasoline, oils, hydraulic fluids and environmental exposure while maintaining flexibility from -65 °F (-54 °C) up to 250 °F (121 °C) with intermittent excursions to 275 °F (135 °C).
