The PPG P/S 700 Firewall Sealant is a two-part polysulfide based system engineered under the AMS 3381 specification to deliver premium fire-resistant sealing for aerospace applications. Its primer-less synthetic-rubber composition cures at ambient temperature to form a flexible, resilient barrier that bonds firmly to metal and composite substrates. With a continuous service range from –65 °F to 400 °F (–54 °C to 204 °C) and the ability to withstand flash temperatures up to 2,000 °F (1,093 °C), it excels in high-heat, high-risk environments. The low-sag paste is compatible with extrusion guns or spatulas for precise application in firewall assemblies, engine nacelles and other critical aircraft zones. It resists aviation fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and environmental exposure, ensuring long-term adhesion and robust protection even under extreme thermal and chemical conditions.
