PPG® PR-1782 B-2 Gray is a two-part, low-density polysulfide fuel tank sealant meeting AIMS 04-05-001/12/14/15 specifications, designed for aerospace applications requiring weight savings and durable sealing. Supplied in a 6 oz 654-SemKit, it delivers exceptional adhesion to aluminum, composites, and common aircraft substrates, resists aviation fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and environmental stress, and maintains flexibility across -65 °F to 250 °F (-54 °C to 121 °C). Its B-2 cure provides controlled working life, ensuring reliable sealing in integral fuel tanks, fuselage joints, and MRO operations while facilitating visual inspection for maintenance.
