PPG MASTINOX D40 is a premium, high-performance corrosion-inhibiting paste engineered for aerospace metal assemblies and threaded joints. Its non-hardening, thixotropic formulation forms a durable barrier that prevents galvanic corrosion when aluminum, titanium or steel alloys are mated even in harsh conditions involving humidity, vibration, temperature fluctuations or exposure to de-icing agents. Resistant to most hydrocarbons and lubricating greases and rated for service temperatures up to 200 °C, MASTINOX D40 extends the service life of critical fasteners, structural joints and airframe components while facilitating maintenance and disassembly when needed.
