PPG® Mastinox CA 1010 White PRC Standard Spec Non-Chromate Corrosion Inhibitive Jointing Compound - 160 mL Cartridge
This non-curing mastic-type corrosion inhibitor compound is formulated to easily bond to aluminum alloys and dissimilar metals, creating an effective physical barrier against corrosion and premature wear. Its operating temperature range is from -65°F (-54°C) to 320°F (160°C), and it maintains its effectiveness even after prolonged exposure to aviation fuels, making it ideal for areas near fuel systems.
It comes as a one-component, thixotropic paste that is easy to apply with a brush or spatula. A thin coat is sufficient for continuous, long-lasting protection. Its white color does not yellow over time or with environmental exposure, and because it does not cure, it retains its flexibility, allowing it to withstand constant vibrations without cracking or peeling.
This product is especially suitable for metal bonds in aircraft structures where active corrosion protection is required without sacrificing elasticity or chemical compatibility.
