Araldite 501 A/B is a dual-component epoxy repair system, supplied as a 1.15 kg kit, engineered for high-performance structural patching in aerospace composite and metal-composite hybrid assemblies. With a 90-minute pot life at ambient conditions and the capability to achieve full cure in as little as two hours at 70 °C, it enables efficient workflow in MRO and OEM environments. Its low, controlled viscosity ensures excellent wetting and impregnation of carbon fiber, fiberglass, honeycomb cores, and metallic inserts, enabling strong interlaminar bonds and robust reinforcement. Once cured, it delivers high shear and peel strength, toughness under cyclic loads, and stable modulus up to 120 °C (Tg ≈ 121 °C), while resisting moisture, chemical exposure, and thermal cycling per ASNA 4047 and AIMS 10-04-024 standards.
