PPG Aerospace® PR-1782 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant  is designed to quickly address potential weaknesses in your aircraft's fuel tank or pressurized cabin. PPG Aerospace® PR-1782 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant was developed for use across a wide range of temperatures, from -54°C to 121°C (-65°F to 250°F). It is best suited for fillet sealing and offers as much as a 30 percent weight savings over similar sealants. PPG Aerospace® PR-1782 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant is a two-part compound with a manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide base. The sealant has low sag and is thixotropic, so it's suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. The sealant cures at room temperature and is remarkably resilient, offering excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates, including aluminum and composites. Once cured, PPG Aerospace® PR-1782 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant is resistant to aviation gas and jet fuel.
