PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 B-2 Brown AMS-S-8802D Type 1, Class B-2 Spec Fuel Tank Sealant - Pint Kit

PR-1422 Class B is an aircraft integral fuel tank sealant that services a temperature range of -65F (-54C) to 250F (121C), with occasional variations up to 275F (135C). This is a material that can be used to fillet seal fuel tanks as well as for other sealing applications on the aircraft fuselage. Once cured, the sealant possesses excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas.

PR-1422 Class B is a two part, dichromate cured poly-sulfide compound. The uncured state is a low sag, thixotropic paste that can be applied with an extrusion gun or spatula. The sealant cures at room temperature and achieves excellent adhesion to standard aircraft substrates.
