PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 B-1/2 Brown AMS-S-8802D Type 1, Class B-1/2 Spec Fuel Tank Sealant - 6 oz 654-SemKit

PR-1422 Class A - B is a sealant for use in integral fuel tanks in aircraft. It has a service temperature range of -65°F (-54°C) to +250°F (+121°C), with intermittent excursions up to +275°F (+135°C). PR-1422 Class A is designed for brush sealing of fasteners in fuel tanks and other sealing applications in the fuselage of the aircraft. PR-1422 Class A when cured, exhibits excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas. PR-1422 Class A is a two-part, dichromate cured polysulfide composition. The uncured form is suitable for brush application in thickness up to 25 mils. Upon being cured at room temperature, it forms a resilient sealant with excellent adhesion properties to the common aircraft substrates.
