PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 A-2 Brown AMS-S-8802D Type 1, Class A-2 Spec Fuel Tank Sealant - Pint Kit

PR-1422 Class A is a sealant for aircraft integral fuel tanks. It has a temperature service range of -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C) with short excursions to 275°F (135°C). This sealant is used for brush sealing fasteners in fuel tanks and general fuselage sealing of aircraft. The cured sealant after long exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas retains excellent elastomeric properties.

PR-1422 Class A is a two part, dichromate cured polysulfide compound. The uncured material is suitable for application by brush in thicknesses up to 25 mils. It cures at room temperature to a resilient sealant which has excellent adhesion to commonly used aircraft substrates.
